Alex and Woody are engaged!

Alex and Woody are from Lake City but will be getting married in the lighthouse of Saint Augustine.  I was best friends with Woody's sister through high school and early years of college so to be shooting his engagement session photos 10 years down the road is so exciting!

I met Erica last year when I shot her cousin's wedding, and she was a bridesmaid.   I was honored when she asked me to participate in her wedding too.  I just love getting to see all the family over a year later and catch up.

Marriage Resources

I get to meet so many amazing people in my line of work, and I get to see the journey that people take through dating, engagement, wedding day, and life.  I do keep in touch with the majority of my couples so I get to witness first hand just how great...and hard marriage really is (especially those first years).  We just finished up a series at church called "The Flame Series", and it's all about family and marriage stuff.   Don't worry, it's not 'churchy' even though it's church...and I promise you'll be able to take something from it.

Beth wanted some recent pictures of herself and loves the beach so there we headed. Unfortunately the wind was howling and sand was flying. She was such a great sport though, and we had a blast.

WEDDING OVERLOAD!!!  -  I'm pretty sure that's what everyone's feeling was. :)
There were lots of great vendors, tons of great food, and amazing wedding cake.

Paul, oh Paul.  He makes the best wedding cakes that I've ever had (and you better believe I've tried MANY different cakes!)  He is responsible for the extra 5 pounds I'm carrying around this week...

Jiles' Maternity and Fam Shoot

Tricshone and Dion are one of my couples from several years ago.  One of the rewarding parts about what I do is keeping up with my couples and getting to document the growth of their family.  I really enjoyed getting to catch up with the Jiles and spend a little time with them.  Can't wait for little tiny baby pictures!
