Let's start with the engagement session. We went out to the beach early one morning. It was pretty chilly out, but they were good sports. I really love the reflection shots, but in order to get them the couple obviously has to stand in the wet sand. 
Usually if it's cold out, I tell the couple what pose I want them to go in, they run down there, do the pose, and run out so they don't get wet. It's actually fun... Anyway, they are out in the wet sand, and I see a wave coming up so I yell "Run! Wave coming!". James, being such the gentleman, quickly picks up Ashley and goes to run out of the danger zone. BUT...he trips, drops Ashley, and falls down himself...in the mud. James ended up with ripped jeans and a bloody knee that we had to hide in the rest of the pictures! Their wedding was only a few days later so he was in pain during the kneeling part of the ceremony!
The wedding day was gorgeous. Throughout all the hair and makeup redos, everyone was in great spirits and on time! My favorite moment in every wedding is watching the groom see his soon to be wife walk down the aisle. Their's was no exception. It was very emotional.
Everyone had an amazing time at Epping. Ashley and James' first dance was probably the most creative that I've ever seen. They started out with "All I wanna do is grow old with you" from The Wedding Singer but then bust out with "Baby got back" in a fully choreographed dance!
