I love bridal magazines. What girl doesn't, right? My fav nights are the ones cuddled on the couch with the new knot or premier bride. Here's the art for the newest addition coming out very soon. Congrats to my fall couples. You all made an amazing fall 2009. I'm so blessed with so many amazing people around me.

Val's Maternity shoot

Val is due in about a week and a half and definitely has that glow. I really love for sessions to be as close to 'real life' as possible so it was fun to do these in their home and around their own things. We had such a great time, and I can't wait to take pictures of their new little one in a few weeks. =)

Andrea's Family Photos at Guana State Park, Ponte Vedra Beach

I met Andrea at Jennifer and Brian's wedding.  She called and wanted some non-traditional family photos.  Of course I was stoked b/c I love to be creative to just shoot in the moment.  She is going to pick a family shot and a close up of each kid to make a 16x16 canvas of each for their livingroom.  This was also a special shoot because it's her and her husband's 10 year anniversery coming up.  Congrats you two.  You were so much fun and have beautiful, FUN kids.

I love hanging with families of kids this age.  They always tell the most interesting and embarrassing stories about their parents!  =)

I like to get little details of kids.  This wil be important 15  years from now when they look back and see their little feet.  Dad said, "Don't you dare take a picture of MY feet!!!"

Such a doll.

...and so handsome.

Still laughing at each other...

This is one of my favs b/c the kids are back there doing their own thing.

Maddie's Photoshoot - Riverside/San Marco

What a doll!!  Maddie is just too cute for words.  Her mom brought her some flowers and bubbles, and we just played and snapped photos.  Thanks for hanging with me this morning!

Sally and Andy are married! The Winterbourne

It poured rain the ENTIRE day.  Generally speaking, if there is bad weather...there's going to be an unhappy bride.  But, thankfully, Sally was way cool.  She was just like, "oh well...can't do anything to change it.  And at the end of this day, I'm marrying the man of my dreams...so bring it on!"  She was so laid back.  The change in routine and being stuck indoors did allow us to be more creative inside.  We had to work with what we had, but the Winterbourne is beautiful inside and out.  Also, can I just say that Candice and the whole staff really busted their rears to get everything set up inside.  They really went above and beyond...and FAST!  All in all, it was a beautiful day.
This is just a sneak...but here ya go.

I love the backlight behind the dress...and then in the other being able to see Sally and her mom through the doors.

This red bedspread made for the POP in pics!

Really?  What bride would lay on a bed before her wedding?  Sally!  She was up for whatever.

Yummy cake!!!

I love it when the couple can just 'be'.  Look at how happy they are.

Andy was such a good sport too.

Oh this is one of my favs.  I love getting a different perspective.  This is their first dance.

Not often do rings fit so well like this for a perfect pic.

Their signature drink was a Christmasy martini with a peppermint stick. Looked yummy!

An email from Sally...what a sweetie!
"Thanks again for that, the pictures were so important to me, because I remember it, but looking at the pictures you took is like doing it all over without any of the planning or stress. I told Andy when we got the pictures that when you weren’t doing formal shots or the pre-wedding stuff, I never saw you, but you were everywhere at one time and there wasn’t a second that was missed. I am super grateful and getting super emotional looking at all the pictures, so I better stop before I take your whole day.   Sally"

Sterling's annual birthday bash. Casa Marina Jax Bach

Tonight was SO much fun...as it is every year.  I'm posting one pic of the birthday boy.  More to come.  Happy Brithday, Sterling!!!!

Okay, here's a few pics of the fashion show.  Black Tie Formals puts on an AMAZING show every year.  So much variety, over the top energy...just all out amazing.

This is a photographer that I met that night, John Binkly. (Note my blackberry is in my hand.  It never leaves my side. I sleep with it under my pillow. No joke! LOL)

My family over Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay so this is a very special post for me.  Because of my schedule, I don't get to see my family as often as I would like.  One of my sisters lives down south with her husband and little ones, and the rest of my fam lives about an hour and a half away from Jax.  I obviously work weekends when they are all off work...so rarely do our schedules coincide to where we can hang.  But I actually took off this Thanksgiving.  I love my family so much, and I'm so proud of everyone.  So here we all are...well, our immediate fam.  We have a HUGE extended family.

So from left to right is my bro in law, Bryan.  He is holding their youngest, Braxton.  My oldest sis, Michelle,  is next to him, and Brayden is looking up to her.  He is their middle child, and Brynna is in front of him.  Brynna is their oldest.  I put the camera on a ladder and set the timer so there's no one standing over there yelling and screaming for the kids to look...which is why we ended up with this pose.  LOL  But it's better than nothing right?  So, next is my mom and dad.  They have been married something like 38 years or so.  They are Wayne and Susie.  My middle sis is next to them.  Her name is Jaime, and her son is Alex...in front of her.  Alex spends his summers here in Jax with me so some of you may recognize him.  And next to them is Brent, my sweet honey...and then there is me.  And that's us!

So to break it all down...again! (yes, I am showing them off!)

Mom and Dad of course.
---

This is my sister's fam.  She and her husband are CPA's.  Very smart and make the most beautiful children =)
---

This is my sister, Jaime.  She's an RN...also very smart.  She works for hospice.  Takes a very special  person to do what she does, but she's really amazing at it.  Alex is her son.  Look at just how adorable he is.  He's such a great kid and so smart too!
---

And then there's Brent and I.  He doesn't like this picture b/c he said his leg looks broken, and then I of course always hate my hair.  I have a big poof ball until I've slept on it for 2 days to push it down to my head.  Bent and I met over a year and a half ago and became best friends pretty quickly.  We stayed 'just friend's for over a year until he finally talked me in to dating (hahaha, he's so going to kill me for saying that!).  I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to fall in love with my best friend.   It takes a special kind of person to put up with me and my work.  It's not always easy, but we're always there for each other.  I love him with all my heart.

So that's us in a nutshell.  I have some more of the babies I'll be posting soon.  I could show them off every day of the week!

Becky and Randy's Maternity shoot - Suwannee River State Park

I loved getting out of town for this shoot...and being somewhere completely different than Jax.  I've known Becky since high school so of course this was a special treat to be meeting her husband and taking her maternity photos.  Randy was your typical guy being dragged to a photo shoot.  I believe his introduction of himself was immediately followed by him saying, "How long is this going to take?" LOL  That is so typical.  I have never met a guy that was stoked about getting pictures done.  But, we made it through and had a great time...and he might kill me for saying this, but by the end of it he even said it was FUN.  Thanks for letting me be a part of this special time in your life.  I can't wait to meet little Mr. Mason.

Michelle's Bridal Session downtown Jacksonville at Friendship Fountain

I've been dying to post these. We did this session over a month ago, and she was finally married last Saturday. Michelle is such a beautiful bride.  She's been such a pleasure to get to know.  Luckily we had a beautiful evening to do her session.  Every couple minutes a gust of wind would blow by so we would throw the veil to catch it in the wind.  So gorgeous!
